2. Crop Circle Coach Tour
Friday 27th July 9.30am - 4.30pm - Includes buffet lunch.

Price £45.00 (£35.00 tour + £10.00 lunch)

There can be no substitute for a first-hand visit to the crop circles. Spending time examining the fine detail inside the circles and soaking up their enigmatic spaces is a unique and amazing experience!

This is an opportunity to visit the crop circles as part of a group with an experienced tour guide. We visit two crop circles during the tour, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. We also provide a delicious buffet lunch served in a local country village hall. Transport, tour guides, payments to farmers and your lunch are included in the ticket price. Transport will be an air-conditioned coach with WC.

Your guides for 2012 will be Dan Vidler and Jonathan DeVierville. Both are enormously experienced crop circle researchers and tour guides.

We pick up at the Bear Hotel in Devizes (next-door to our main conference venue). We leave at 9.30am sharp, and drop back at the Bear Hotel at 4.30pm (approx).

We have limited places on this very popular tour, so please book early!

Please note: In the unfortunate circumstance that there are no crop circles, or that we cannot gain permission to enter any circles, this tour will still go ahead visiting instead, local sacred sites.
Be prepared for inclement English weather!

Important: It is essential that you read the information sheet about this tour before booking.

3. Crop Circle Geometry Workshop
(with Michael Glickman & Karen Alexander)
Friday 27th July 6.00pm – 8.30pm

Price £50.00 (includes light refreshments)

Understanding the geometry of the crop circles is something that has preoccupied researchers since the phenomenon first came to the public's attention. The magnificent and complex crop circle forms contain numbers and proportions that once understood, open a window onto a whole world of possibilities in interpreting the phenomenon.

This fascinating workshop will be a hands-on introduction to the geometry of the crop circles, with an opportunity to do some drawing and geometry for yourself. We will explore basic geometric forms, the notion of 'sacred geometry', the philosophy of numbers and how these subjects shed light on the crop circle designs. We will provide drawing instruments and paper. Light refreshments will also be provided.

The workshop is to be led by veteran circles researchers Michael Glickman and Karen Alexander who bring their considerable experience in this field to the event.

We anticipate that this will be a very popular workshop, so please book early, limited places are available.

The workshop will be held in the Wessex Room on the upper floor of the Corn Exchange and will run from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

4. Green Room Sessions.
Saturday & Sunday (during the main lectures programme)

A constant feature of the feedback that we regularly receive about our event is that you value the opportunity to talk to our speakers at more length and to connect with one another. So our conference provides a 'Green Room'. This is a meet, greet and networking space, where you will be able to quiz our speakers after their presentations and take part in some post lecture debate.

We provide a large display space for you to leave messages, information and contact details for networking and connecting with others. The sessions are held in the Yeoman room on the upper floor of the Corn Exchange and take place twice a day during the morning coffee and afternoon tea breaks (40 mins each session). These sessions are free to everyone attending the main lecture programme on Saturday & Sunday.

5. Night-Watch/ Crop Circle Vigil
Saturday 28th July 12.00am - 6.00am

Price £35.00 (includes light refreshments)

Many strange things have been seen and experienced in the Pewsey Vale at night, in and around the fields and the crop circles. The whole place takes on a different ambience when the sun sets. Crop Circles most often appear at night between darkness and sunrise and many researchers have at some point taken part in night-time vigils overlooking the fields.

While it's true that anyone can sit on a hilltop and watch the skies for free, sometimes it's great to do this as part of an organised group with friends and other delegates from the conference. If you are a new visitor to the UK, travelling alone, or just new to the Wiltshire area it makes sense to do your first night-watch with an experienced guide. We work in cooperation with local landowners and farmers and organise parking and refreshments.

We spend the night out in the open at various locations in the Wiltshire countryside overlooking the enigmatic Pewsey Vale as part of a night-time vigil with a small group of like-minded companions. Explore dream, consciousness and ritual landscape components of the crop circle phenomenon with dream analyst Jonathan DeVierville and sacred sites researcher Cameron Broughton. Please bring your binoculars and cameras! If circumstances allow we will be taking the group into a crop circle during the night.

We meet at midnight to park cars before going out to the watch site and then return to an indoors location for warm refreshments and a debrief (at approx 5.00am) before everyone departs to get some well-earned sleep!

You will need to make your own way to and from the rendezvous point - a twenty-minute drive from the conference venue - we will supply a map!

This is a small intimate group rather than a large tour party, so places are very limited. Please book early.

Important: The night-watch does not finish until 6.00am on Sunday morning. However our Sunday lecture programme begins at 9.30am - allowing for no sleep! If you would like to get some sleep on Sunday morning, you can book a half-day ticket which gives you access to the Sunday lecture programme after the lunch break from 2.00pm onwards. This half-day ticket is available only to those attending the Night-Watch.

Important: It is important you read this information sheet about the tour before booking.
